Stage One: Making it work - The focus of this first stage is to arrive at a layout that fulfills the functional requirements of your design brief and one that you are entirely happy with. This is achieved through the development of your kitchens floor plan, with 2-3 options being considered before a final plan is resolved upon. Once we have created the ‘foundations’ of your kitchen by defining its layout, we then move onto developing its style.
Stage Two: Making it look right - Your designer will have already been considering your kitchens styling in the first stage, however unless you are used to reading plans, the aesthetics may not be clear to you until this second stage of generating elevations of each view of your kitchen - with these drawings not only giving you a clearer impression of your kitchens aesthetic, but also providing a deeper understanding of how you might work in it.
Stage Three: Controlling the quality and cost - Defining your kitchens materials, internals and general specifications - dictates not only the finer aesthetic and function of your new kitchen, but it also has a major impact on its cost, quality and longevity. Once this process is complete, your kitchens major design decisions have been made and I then provide you with a quote from the joiner selected to best fit your budget, quality, style and service preferences.
Stage Four: Defining your service package - Our quotation provides you with various pricing options – this is done in order to give you control of your final spend, as well as allow you to measure the cost of the options quoted for. It is then down to choosing your final selection of materials/colours with your designer and defining the scope of work that you would like us to manage (from us simply supplying and installing your new kitchen/furniture - through to managing the entire process necessary i.e. architectural consents, building and subtrade work etc).
